• The Hands-on Insurance Claim Workshops this Saturday in Pasadena and Sunday in Pacific Palisades, covering important topics such as deadlines for turning in contents lists, best practices in hiring a contractor, Mental Health & Special Needs trusts, and more. • The free community holiday event made especially for families affected by the 2025 LA fires, hosted by 24LA and SNO Family Foundation taking place this Sunday, December 7, 2025. There is another event at Marquez Elementary on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The information for both is below.

LA Region Community Recovery Organization (LARCRO) Resource Guide

LARCRO has developed a simple, easy to navigate region wide resource guide (click here - Resource Guide) to assist in identifying available services. The list is frequently updated, and it will lead you directly to the organizations that will partner with you toward your sustainable long-term recovery.

Better Angels Relief Navigator

Better Angels launched the LA Disaster Relief Navigator, an online tool to help Angelenos impacted by the wildfires effectively navigate the many resources potentially available to them. The solution is designed to help people navigate every aspect of fire relief, including applying for federal, state and local government assistance; making insurance claims; temporary and permanent housing solutions; income loss mitigation; and other critical services. The Navigator provides personalized action plan based on individual circumstances, making the recovery process immediately actionable and putting the community on a path to recovery. Disaster Case Management Program
The Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP) is FEMA-funded and provides supplemental Disaster Case Management services to vulnerable populations.

The DCMP is a limited-term, holistic partnership between a case manager and an individual survivor or household to identify and address unmet needs caused by the declared disaster. Through this partnership, the case manager works with the survivor to develop a comprehensive recovery plan to assist the survivor with any un-resourced items, support, or assistance that has been assessed and verified as necessary for the survivor to recover from a disaster.

The January 2025 wildfires are an active DCMP under the name:

Disaster Preparedness - LA City Ready Your LA Neighborhood Program

The City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department has launched the Ready Your LA Neighborhood (RYLAN) Program. RYLAN provides free and easy to use tools to help you and your family, business, and neighborhood prepare for disaster.
