T.O. Remembers: Stories from November 2018

Please join us for a community storytelling experience as we remember and honor the lives of those we lost and take time to reflect upon and listen to stories from November 2018.

When: November, 8, 2019, 7-9 p.m. Lobby opens at 6:15 p.m.
Where: Scherr Forum at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza

Tickets are $15 per person.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Interface Children and Family Services to go toward their long term recovery efforts for both those affected by Borderline and those affected by the Hill and Woolsey Fires.

PURCHASE TICKETS

6:15 p.m. — Lobby area will be open to the public with displays of collected stories and artwork. Light appetizers and refreshments will be available.
6:30 p.m. — Doors open
7 p.m. — Event begins

  • Personal stories will be shared by Borderline survivors, families of victims, first responders and community members.

  • Musical performances from Paige Peele, Alex Nester, and Mika Lynch, as well as a dance performance from California Dance Theatre, and music from the Thousand Oaks High School Choir.

  • Ventura County Behavioral Health will be on-site offering support and resources.
